As Jeff and I were heading into Willowdale Estate in Topsfield, Massachusetts, we noticed this beautiful bird, a peacock, perched on top of the sign. Jeff and I decided that a peacock on Kate's wedding day had to be good luck, so we hopped out of the car and got a few shots.

It was our first time at Willowdale, which was a beautiful location for a wedding. A big tent, plenty of parking with a valet service, and a cool mansion to get ready in...photography with Bharat Parmar Photography.

We shot a big, beautiful Greek wedding in Newport, Rhode Island this past weekend.  It started on Thames Street and ended up at the Atlantic Beach Club.  We shot some Super8 in addition to the digital video, but we also tried the new Canon 5d Mark II, a digital still camera that shoots stunning HD clips.  This footage was taken with the new Canon 5d Mark II.  I'm still trying to work out the bugs...

Just a quick clip from May 16, 2009, at Lakeview Pavilion in Foxboro, Massachusetts.  It's raw footage, from their first dance.  We shot it with two DV cameras and a film camera.  Can't wait to get the film back from the lab!

I'll post some footage from yesterday's wedding at the Willowdale Estate up in Topsfield, MA in a day or two.  First shot from yesterday's wedding:  a big peacock, sitting on the entrance sign to the reception site.  That's gotta be good luck.  

I'm off to Annie & Seth's wedding down in Newport.  Josh shot their welcome dinner last night at the Newport Yachting Center.  I'll post some of that here shortly as well.

Okay...so I'm a little slow, since it is 9 days into 2009...but things are crazy here!

My wife and I bought a beautiful yellow lab puppy for our three boys on Christmas, which has led to a lot of happiness as well as a lot of mischief.

My new film, On the Lake: Life and Love in a Distant Place, is finally complete and makes its world premiere on February 13th at the Stadium Theatre in Woonsocket. Okay, almost complete. We've got a few things left to do...

And I'm cutting the last dozen or so weddings from the fall of 2008 and I have to thank all of my couples for being so patient. I shoot with multiple formats and with multiple cameras which makes editing a little more tedious. But I think it's well worth it.
